Automatic Drilling & Tapping Machines →Compare standard platforms and custom layouts, then prepare the part and production requirements for your quote.
Start with the people and their assigned roles
List the roles expected to use or support the purchased equipment. Operators, setup personnel, maintenance staff and production supervisors may need different information. State the participants' familiarity with comparable equipment and their working language. Provide expected attendance by shift and identify who will retain the training record. This allows the supplier to propose a delivery that matches the buyer's staffing plan.
Avoid treating one attendee as an automatic substitute for the entire production team. If the buyer intends to train later recruits internally, state that intention and ask which materials and explanations are included for that purpose. Keep this separate from a request for the supplier to deliver additional sessions. Clarify the buyer's own role in assigning personnel and maintaining internal instructions after the initial delivery.
Describe the requested learning outcomes by role
Use task descriptions at the purchasing level rather than attempting to write machine procedures before the configuration is finalized. Identify what each group needs to understand and which questions should be directed to another role. The supplier can then explain its proposed coverage and exclusions. The following matrix is a request template, not a statement that every listed service is included with a BINSING machine.
Tie the materials to the machine being delivered
Specify that the material list should identify the relevant machine configuration, part family and document revision. A generic presentation may provide background but may not explain the delivered fixture, selected options or boundaries between machine tasks and external work. Ask which documents are supplied, in what language and format, and whether any requested translation or adaptation is a separate item in the proposal.
Keep the request concrete: a list of supplied documents, an explanation of how participants find the relevant information and a record of questions needing follow-up. If several part variants are included, identify which are covered during the session. Do not assume that observing one variant means personnel have reviewed every configuration or that the supplier has agreed to create the buyer's internal production instructions.
Make the session conditions part of the scope
Agree whether delivery is proposed at the supplier's location, at the buyer's site, remotely or through a combination. Identify who provides representative parts, language support and access to the agreed equipment and documents. Ask how the session relates to machine demonstration and installation activities. These events can overlap in scheduling while still having different objectives and completion records.
For example, imagine a buyer with two production shifts but only one planned training session. This is an illustrative planning situation. The decision is whether both shifts attend together, the buyer arranges an internal transfer of knowledge or an additional supplier session is requested. Recording that choice before purchase avoids interpreting an attendance gap as an unspecified future service commitment.
Agree what completion means and record open items
A useful completion record lists attendees, roles, topics, materials and the machine configuration discussed. Agree how understanding will be reviewed and how questions outside the session scope will be captured. Attendance alone records presence; it does not establish competence for every task or replace the buyer's decisions about work assignment. Keep the completion criteria proportionate to the training delivery actually requested.
Separate missing materials, unanswered configuration questions and requests for additional topics in the follow-up record. Assign an owner and expected response for each agreed item. When contacting BINSING, include a role list, working language, proposed location and the outcomes you want covered. Ask for the training proposal to identify included delivery, buyer preparation and any additional services requiring separate agreement.
