Compare automatic drilling machines for repeated holes in metal parts. BINSING offers dual-servo, horizontal double-head and servo-traverse platforms, with custom multi-spindle and multi-side layouts matched to your drawing.

Choose a starting platform
Start with the machining task, then review the platform specifications and the tooling your part needs.
| Platform | Application fit | Catalog reference |
|---|---|---|
| Dual-Servo Drilling & Tapping | Parts with repeated hole or thread patterns that benefit from coordinated multi-spindle machining. | Drilling range: Ø1–15 mm Tapping range: M0.8–M16 Spindle travel: 50–200 mm |
| Horizontal Double-Head Drilling | Repeated parts that need drilling at both ends and a fixture that positions both machining faces. | Machine arrangement: Two opposing horizontal heads Workpiece size: Confirmed from the part drawing Hole capacity and travel: Confirmed for material and tooling |
| Servo Traverse Drilling & Tapping | Repeated hole layouts or machining sequences requiring controlled traverse positioning. | Platform: Servo traverse, multi-spindle Spindle arrangement: Selected from the hole pattern Traverse and machining travel: Confirmed from the part dimensions |
Catalog ranges describe each platform, not guaranteed results for every material or spindle arrangement. Confirm the selected tools, fixture and process with your drawing. Scroll the comparison table horizontally on smaller screens.

Standard platform
A servo traverse platform for positioning a workpiece through a multi-spindle machining sequence. Define the movement and tooling from your drawing.
View machineDefine what is automatic
Automatic feed moves the cutting tool through the drilling cycle. Automatic part loading brings a new workpiece into position; unloading removes the finished part. These are separate functions. Specify whether an operator will load each part or whether your project needs an integrated feeding and discharge arrangement.

Custom solution
Move parts between drilling, chamfering and tapping stations on a rotary layout. Station count, tooling and loading are designed around the workpiece.

An automatic drilling machine quotation depends on the machining heads, spindle layout, travel, fixture and loading arrangement. Hole diameter, depth, material and tolerance determine the application review. Send a drawing and target output so the quotation can identify the proposed configuration, included tooling and any handling equipment separately.
Understand machine cost factors →For a repeated hole pattern, review the BX-20015 dual-servo platform. For holes at opposing ends, review the horizontal double-head arrangement. A servo-traverse platform or custom layout may be appropriate when the part needs several machining positions. Final selection depends on tool access, workholding and the complete drawing.
Automatic drilling does not establish the loading scope. A machine can automate cutting while an operator loads and unloads parts. If you need automatic part handling, provide part photos, dimensions and the normal supplied condition so feeding, positioning and discharge can be assessed as part of the proposal.
Send a dimensioned drawing with hole locations, diameters, depths and tolerances, plus material, part dimensions and target output. Include the preferred loading method and any part variants. If you only have photos initially, identify the machining faces and supply the missing dimensions during the review.
Share a drawing or photo, the required operations and your output target. You can begin without choosing a machine.
