Custom Multi-Spindle & Gantry Drilling and Tapping Machines

Review a custom multi-spindle or gantry arrangement when the hole pattern, workpiece envelope or fixture calls for a dedicated layout. BINSING matches the machining heads, worktable and support to the required operations. Start with the complete part and loading route to define the proposed configuration.

Define your configuration

Define the usable machining area and the part-handling interfaces

A part fitting within a worktable outline does not establish tool access or usable machining coverage. Include the workpiece, fixture, carrier and their positions during loading, cutting and removal.

Proposed process functions and questions to resolve
FunctionScope to reviewConfirm for your part
Workpiece and carrier envelopeRecord the full incoming component and anything used to present it.Length, width, height, weight, projecting features, carrier and variant differences
Hole groups and working areaMap the features, depths and approach directions that the proposal must cover.Hole coordinates, thread schedule, material, active tool groups and any repositioning
Worktable, fixture and supportReview locating references and allowed contacts across the complete part.Fixture outline, supports, protected surfaces and tool/holder/clamp clearance
Loading and removalDefine the handover from the factory's handling arrangement to the machine.Entry paths, access space, carrier interfaces and who supplies each handling element
Delivered machining scopeIdentify the finished features and any work left outside the equipment.Preparation, drilling, tapping, edge finishing, cleaning and acceptance responsibilities

The gantry image and BX-20050 example below are separate configuration references, not one interchangeable specification. BX-20050 is not the BX-20015 standard platform. No general workpiece-length, load-rating, travel or cutting-capacity limit is established by these photographs; the offer must identify the configuration and its reviewed application range.

01

Custom layout or standard platform

If a standard head and fixture can cover the drawing, compare that route first. A dedicated table or gantry arrangement deserves review when the working envelope, support or machining layout needs a different configuration. More machine size does not itself establish more completed output.

02

Long profiles and larger parts

For profiles, show hole references, length variants and support throughout the machining sequence. For larger or heavier components, include carrier geometry and the loading interface. These are different review inputs; neither proves the other is covered.

03

Coverage and acceptance

Choose review cases that expose different reach, support and access requirements. Identify the drawing, fixture, tooling and loading conditions behind each sample result. One inspected hole or one part variant cannot establish every proposed spindle position or workpiece envelope.

Price & quotation

Request a price for a defined equipment scope

Custom multi-spindle and gantry drilling machine price depends on the head arrangement, working area, worktable, fixtures, tools and handling interfaces. Include tapping and any other required operations explicitly. Compare proposals by completed features and supplied equipment, with loading equipment, installation interfaces and trial coverage assigned to the appropriate supplier or buyer scope.

  • Incoming and finished drawings with overall envelope, weight and all relevant variants
  • Hole coordinates, drilling depths, thread pitches, material grade and supplied condition
  • Locating surfaces, allowed support/clamp contacts and any existing fixture or carrier
  • Factory loading approach, available space and handling interfaces
  • Operation coverage, target output, utilities and agreed finished-part checks

Questions to resolve for your part

Is BX-20050 a larger version of the BX-20015 standard machine?

BX-20050 is shown as a separate custom dual-servo multi-spindle configuration reference. Do not transfer BX-20015 catalog specifications to it or infer capacities from the model numbers. Request a proposal that identifies the selected platform, head, worktable and application range.

What length or weight can a gantry drilling machine handle?

There is no universal published limit for this custom offering. Provide the part and carrier dimensions, weight, fixture and loading method. The supplier must confirm the usable envelope and applicable limits for the proposed configuration.

Are loading equipment and a multi-spindle head included?

The quotation must state the head, tooling, worktable, fixture and handling equipment supplied. A gantry reference does not establish a particular spindle count or include lifting, feeding or discharge equipment by default.

Can the proposal include both drilling and tapping?

List both operations by feature, with material, depths and thread specifications. The head arrangement, tools, positioning and any transfer must be reviewed together. Confirmation applies to the offered process, not every possible drilling or tapping task.
